People I met in Italy

Italy was a lot of fun. I saw beautiful cities, buildings, artwork and met some really nice people. The people you meet along the way can really enhance the experience. I thought it would be fun to take their picture and share them with you. I took notes, but I was surprised how much I remembered on my own. These people left an impression on me, I hope I did the same for them. The weird thing was that I met 3 other people named Wendy.

Giuseppe (our driver) my sisters and myself. Giuseppe was the best driver and I highly recommend him. You can request him thru tours-europe.com. I felt our tour that day was really worth it.

Luigi and my mom. Luigi was the owner of restaurant we went to on the Amalfi coast. It was so good. All fresh hand made food.

Tania Buenio was our tour guide for Pompeii. She was great. You can request her if you go thru tours-europe.com for your driver.

Christina from Georgia, USA was our tour guide for the Vatican. She was great. She has been a tour guide there for 12 years. My sister actually took her tour 7 years ago. We were lucky to get her again. I will post the company she works for on my links.

Dee and Wendy from England. They were on our tour and we ran into them twice in Rome while we were there. They are very sweet ladies.

Family from New Jersey. The children have seen the last 2 popes and mom has seen the last 3. I was so impressed by that.

Heather was traveling alone. We met her at our hotel in Florence.

Bledy our waiter at Trattoria Al Trebbio in Florence. He was so friendly and the food was so good we ate there twice.

Group from Ireland we surrendered our table to at the very busy Hard Rock Cafe.

Couple we met in Pisa. They had just met each other traveling alone thru Europe. One was from South Korea and the other from China. We saved them from a horrible lunch in Pisa.

This is Wendy and Dawn (I am not making this up! Yes we have the same names). They are originally from Canada but presently living in Saudi Arabia. These girls were touring the same areas as we were. They were going on a cruise too. I hope you ladies had a great time.
